About Us
Stepp's Towing & Heavy Transport has been family-owned and operated since 1960! We have fleet vehicles in the greater Tampa Bay area as well as the greater Orlando area. We specialize in light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty towing as well as heavy transport, and auto salvage.
Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport
is looking to add Medium Duty Tow Truck Drivers! If you are looking for a career in the Towing industry and have prior, relevant experience, we would love to speak to you about our career opportunities! This opening is intended for Class A CDL Drivers with Medium Duty Towing experience.
Medium-duty towing experience is required.
All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck.
No Slip Seating!
Essential Functions
The ideal candidate must be able to do the following:
  • Work comfortably and safely at accident scenes in traffic and cooperate well with law enforcement to complete the job assigned.
  • Communicate well with dispatchers and customers.
  • Effectively operate GPS mapping
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Work in all weather conditions

Physical Requirements for the Position Include
  • Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing, significant physical strength and stamina.

Qualifications
  • Class A CDL License required with 2 years of verifiable experience
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Past medium duty towing experience or related field is required
  • Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
  • Must be able to pass background check/drug test
  • Must have a Clean Driving Record.
  • Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills
