Air Force Civilian Service is currently seeking a full-time Information Technology Specialist (SYSADMIN) to serve as a SharePoint Administrator in the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC)Sentinel Systems Directorate at Hill Air Force Base, near Layton, UT.
This position is an NH-2210-03. The basic salary range for this position is $76,463 - $100,018 based on Value of Position, which does not include locality pay.
**Value of Position: If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the stated Value of Position, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position.
Recruitment, Relocation, Retention, and Student Loan Incentives may be authorized.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and optimize our SharePoint environment while leveraging Power Platform tools to enhance collaboration, automate workflows, and deliver data-driven insights. The incumbent will also serve as a network/systems administrator for the SAP environment, supporting day-to-day operations, cybersecurity, and technical support activities.
DUTIES:
• Manages and maintains SharePoint environments (Online, On-Premise, or Hybrid), including site collections, permissions, governance policies, and content management.
• Configures and customizes SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions to meet business needs.
• Implements SharePoint solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to automate business processes.
• Creates and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data, support decision-making, and provide actionable insights. Manages datasets, schemas, and on-premises data gateways for Power BI and SharePoint integration.
• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains hardware, software, and administers system accounts.
• Manages user access rights, network rights, and enforce local network usage policies and security procedures.
• Provides technical support to customers, diagnose and resolve customer-reported system incidents, problems, and events.
• Provides end-user training and support to ensure best practices in SharePoint and Power Platform usage.
• Monitors performance, optimizes system stability, and reviews usage/activity reports. Performs backups, data retrieval, and verify data redundancy.
SKILLS:
• SharePoint: 3+ years managing SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, or hybrid environments.
• Power Platform: Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for automation, integration, and analytics.
• Microsoft 365: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
• Technical Skills: PowerShell, REST APIs, SQL Server, JavaScript, and SharePoint APIs.
• Skill in correcting physical and technical problems that impact system/server performance, and experience recovering failed systems/servers.
• Ability to accurately define incidents, problems, and events in the trouble ticketing system and communicate solutions effectively to users.
• Knowledge of IT system administration, network security architecture concepts, and virtualization technologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI (Tier 5) security clearance.
• Must meet DoDM 8140.03 qualification requirements within required timeframe.
