Position Description & Qualifications

Are you an SharePoint Systems Analyst looking for a place where you can make a difference every day? Serco is the place for you! We have an exciting opportunity supporting the United States Navy and our CNIC N6 program based out of Naples, Italy.

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate process or improve transparency for analytics and decision making.

The CNIC N6 SharePoint Systems Analyst will perform FlankSpeed Subject Matter Expert (SME) functions, including managing all applications within the collaboration platform as well as on premises SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online.

In this role, you will:

  • Configure and enhance search services and scopes to provide targeted information to users.

  • Perform all necessary tasks to keep the NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet Portal and Web systems operational.

  • Develop the security architecture and manage access and permissions for several SharePoint Portals.

  • Maintain/enhance and troubleshoot/resolve NAVEUR/NAVAF/6TH FLEET N6 Collaboration At Sea (CAS) web site architecture and layout to ensure peak operational efficiency.

  • Act as the technical lead for NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet in regard to web-based technologies; evaluate new products and their suitability for use in support of NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet Web objectives; analyze, evaluate and makes recommendations on projects.

  • Utilize knowledge of DoD web policies, cybersecurity policies and regulations along with executing NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet Information Management policies and projects.

  • Design, develop and implement applications, reports, dashboards and automate workflows using Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI and Power Automate.

  • Provide technical support on the NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet Portal, US BICES Portal, and other NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet Web and external networks to increase productivity and communications, and satisfy mission essential tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance

  • U.S Citizenship

  • A high school diploma/GED and minimum 8 years' experience/technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or other related discipline

  • Or a Master's degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience

  • An active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification

  • Valid/Active U.S Passport

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • An active Top-Secret clearance

  • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint administration and development, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation; strong background in systems analysis, automation, and supporting enterprise-level collaboration platforms
