The HR Coordinator supports the effective execution of the organization's HR operating model by ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant delivery of core HR services. This role acts as a key enabler between Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, and employees by managing processes, data, and day-to-day HR operations. The HR Coordinator helps administer HR repeatable processes that enhance the employee experience and operational effectiveness.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

HR Operating Model Support

  • Support the ongoing optimization of the HR operating model by executing standardized HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire).
  • Serve as a first-level point of contact for employees and managers, routing inquiries appropriately to Total Rewards SME's or HR Generalists based on the request.
  • Ensure role clarity and process adherence within the HR model by following documented service delivery frameworks, workflows, and escalation paths.
  • Assist in documenting, maintaining, and improving HR process maps, service catalogs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

HR Service Delivery & Operations

  • Coordinate day-to-day HR transactional activities including onboarding, job changes, offboarding, and employee data maintenance.
  • Support Talent Acquisition through onsite interview scheduling and sending supporting materials in an organized and timely manner.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of HR requests in HRIS and case management, and workflow tools.
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and other internal providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Enablement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities within HR workflows and employee touchpoints.
  • Support change management activities related to HR process updates, system enhancements, or operating model evolution.
  • Partner with HR Generalists to develop and update employee and manager job aids, FAQs, and self-service resources.
  • Provide feedback from employee interactions to HR leaders to inform service design and operating model maturity.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of HR operating models (e.g., Shared Services, HRBP, and COE structures).
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to follow and improve standardized workflows.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a service-delivery environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, case management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
Education & Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of HR coordination, HR operations, or shared services experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a structured HR service delivery or operating model environment is a strong plus.

Compensation and Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is outlined below under "Job Details" and is dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws. Beyond base salary, Forj offers a competitive Total Rewards Package. We offer health, dental, vision, 401K plans, and time off programs. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program which depends on various factors, including, individual and organizational performance.
