Job description

Position Summary
The Senior Shared Services Analyst is a technically focused role responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Financial Shared Services processes and ERP systems. This position partners closely with the Senior Director of Accounting Operations to execute system changes, process improvements, reporting enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.
The focus is on system configuration, data analysis, process optimization, testing, and operational support across AR, AP, Route Settlement, Pricing and related Shared Services functions.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Systems Support
  • Serve as a primary technical support resource for Shared Services ERP systems (D365 preferred), including configuration, testing, and deployment of system changes.
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and integrations impacting Shared Services processes.
  • Execute and document system testing (UAT), validate results, and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Process Improvement & Change Management
  • Partner with leadership to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and monitor process improvements across AR, AP, Route Settlement, and other Shared Services areas.
  • Support change management initiatives by coordinating communications, training materials, and rollout plans.
  • Act as a liaison between Shared Services, IT, vendors, and external partners.

Operational & Analytical Support
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reports, and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making.
  • Analyze transactional data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support issue resolution related to system data, workflow exceptions, and user errors.
  • Assist with audit support and data requests related to systems and processes (non-accounting).

Leadership & Backup Support
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, projects, and escalations impacting Shared Services operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to Shared Services users with system functionality and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Shared Services, ERP systems, or process-focused operational roles.
  • Strong ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
  • Experience with system testing, process documentation, and operational reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system and process solutions.
