Welcome to Love's! We are seeking a skilled Indirect Tax Analyst II to manage tax compliance with expanded responsibilities in reconciliations, audits, and tax research.

Job Functions:

  • Independently prepare and file indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct more complex reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Respond to state notices and assist in tax audits with minimal supervision.
  • Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining tax software configurations and updates.
  • Provide input on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Indirect Tax Analyst I team members.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Experience and Qualifications::

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 1+ years of related experience.

Skills:

  • Hard Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Advanced proficiency in Excel and tax software (Avalara, Vertex, SRA, SAP).
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication and ability to manage workload independently.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
