Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sewing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a sewing department that works with heavier materials using modern computerized Juki sewing machines. This role is responsible for supervising sewing staff, maintaining production quality and efficiency, training team members, and ensuring all work is completed safely and on schedule.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong sewing knowledge, production oversight experience, and the ability to support a team working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support sewing department employees in daily production activities
  • Oversee workflow, productivity, and quality standards to ensure deadlines are met
  • Train, coach, and assist sewing operators on proper sewing techniques, machine use, and quality expectations
  • Monitor work for accuracy, consistency, and overall workmanship

  • Ensure employees are using equipment safely and following company procedures
  • Coordinate with management regarding production schedules, staffing needs, and department performance
