Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1

You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that keeps production flowing and products meeting quality and safety standards. You will work closely with the production team and supervisors on the 2nd shift (M–F, 1:30pm–10:00pm) in an onsite role in Simi Valley, CA, contributing to timely output and dependable operations.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform routine mechanical/electromechanical assembly of small parts and components per instructions and procedures
  • Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm sequence of operations
  • Position very small parts under binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures; adjust, align, bend and solder fine wires and components
  • Bond or seal parts and assemblies with epoxies and perform in-process testing
  • Operate hand tools and light machinery to assemble parts and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Follow all safety policies and demonstrate safe work practices
  • Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance; be available for variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as needed
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 1–2 years of relevant assembler experience
  • Experience with blueprint reading and strong communication skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to work with small parts
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
  • Capability to perform basic mathematics and problem-solve using existing procedures
  • Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
