Job description

KLX Energy Services LLC provides a broad range of technical solutions and equipment to our customers. We are currently seeking a Technical Services for our La Salle, CO location.
PURPOSE:
Participates in the planning, execution, and management of all phases of any Fishing, Thru-Tubing, Reverse Unit, Air Packages, Nitrogen Services, and/ or Pressure Control operations to ensure delivery of services according to client requirements and expectations. Responsible for supervising technical services operations on well site.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Provides technical support to crew and clients at the well site; maintains communication with client well site representative, rig crew, and field support staff; communicates with internal and external clients
• Plans and coordinates operations utilizing technical expertise to determine the need, technique, and use of equipment on a well site
• Advises customer on proper procedures to perform operations and provide instruction; troubleshoots issues on well site to reduce non-productive time; supervises operations on well site
• Manages storage and inventories of supplies and fixed assets on the rig.
• Ensures work is performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
• Prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation
• Trains, coaches, and mentors trainees
• Develops expertise on advanced techniques; participates in knowledge sharing
• Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Less than High School Education
Degree Field (s):
• Work Experience: 4-6 years
Supervisory Experience: Not Applicable
Related Experience:
• Relevant experience in open-hole and/or cased-hole operation
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant product line experience
• High mechanical aptitude
**Fishing/Thru-Tubing Operations:
• Extensive knowledge of Fishing, Thru-Tubing, and related services
**Reverse Unit, Power Swivels, Air Packages, Pressure control, and Nitrogen Services Operations:
• Extensive knowledge of Motors, Pumps, Compressors and Power Swivels and pressure control relating to a drilling, completion or production operation and related services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Degree Field (s):
• Work Experience: 6-8 years
Supervisory Experience: 1-3 years
Related Experience:
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
