Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Automation Developer to design, build and support end-to-end IT process automation using ServiceNow enterprise platform. This role will focus on workflow driven automation that enable self-service, reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across IT and cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, Python and PowerShell scripting, integrations and SQL Server development. This role will work closely with ServiceNow Engineering, infrastructure, application development, cloud, security and enterprise architecture to deliver scalable and secure automation solutions.
Required Skillset/Experience:
  • 5 - 8 years of strong hands-on technical experience with ServiceNow development, automation, integration and scripting.
  • 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow development with a focus on integrations including AWS, Azure and VMWare.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables and relationships.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow integration solutions including: ServiceNow API's, SSO, SAML, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC and REST APIs.
  • Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, Flow Designer, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules
  • Advance scripting experience with JavaScript, PowerShell, Python.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub for rapid integration development and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow catalog and workflow development.
  • Experience implementing REST API integration with third party tools and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with GitHub and version control practices.
  • Experience with backend SQL Server development is preferred.
  • Good functional and technical understanding of ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow CSDM framework is preferred.
  • Ability to create custom reports, dashboards and visualizations.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow automation solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom scripts.
  • Build and enhance ServiceNow applications using JavaScript (server-side and client-side scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Catalog Client Scripts).
  • Develop PowerShell and Python scripts to automate infrastructure, system administration, and operational tasks.
  • Create and manage ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and data sources.
  • Design and execute automated data flows between ServiceNow and SQL Server databases, including queries, stored procedures, and data synchronization.
  • Optimize automation for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation, integration, and scripting issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational runbooks.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and version control practices related to ServiceNow and automation scripts.
  • Ensure automation solutions adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Analyze existing processes and integrations, identifying areas for improvement, consolidation, and enhancements.
  • Engage in day-to-day operational support and continuous capability improvement.
  • Engage in on call support as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $154 - 194k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
