Job description

Job Title : Business Development Manager - New Logo (IT Services)
Job Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid) or Remote
Job Type: Part time (15-25 hrs/week)
Pay range: $35-$40/hr
Benefits for Eligible Employees - Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays.
About Edify
Headquartered in Naperville, IL, we are a dynamic team with over two decades of industry expertise, dedicated to delivering robust business solutions, staff augmentation, and a comprehensive range of application and web services. As a former recipient of Inc. Magazine's prestigious '5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies' award, we take immense pride in our proven track record of success.
At Edify Technologies, we partner with customers globally, empowering them to enhance their technology footprint, reduce unnecessary costs, develop sustainable IT solutions, and gain a competitive edge in today's digital world. We believe in creating an impact through innovation, driving tangible results that propel businesses forward.
The Opportunity:
Edify Technologies is growing its platform practice - ServiceNow, Salesforce (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud), MuleSoft, and Palantir AIP - and needs a sharp, self-directed hunter to open new commercial accounts on a flexible schedule. This is a true new-logo role: you prospect, you build relationships, you close. IT staffing and managed services round out your pitch as a natural cross-sell once you're in the door.
If you've got a strong existing network in commercial IT, digital transformation, or platform ownership circles - or public sector relationships, you'd like to keep warm on the side - this role lets you monetize that network on your own schedule.
What You'll Do
  • Prospect and close net-new commercial accounts for Edify's platform and IT services offerings
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering/Digital Transformation, and platform owners
  • Own your deals start to finish - prospecting through close, with real autonomy on how you run your pipeline
  • Cross-sell IT staffing/Managed Services into accounts you open
  • Report progress directly to the CEO - your wins get seen

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience selling IT services/technology consulting, with a genuine hunter track record - net-new logos, not just account management
  • Comfort running full sales cycles independently, including six- to seven-figure deals
  • Strong outbound instincts - you don't wait for leads, you go find them
  • CRM fluency for pipeline tracking

Nice to have:
  • Experience selling ServiceNow, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or Palantir specifically
  • Public sector relationships (GSA, RFP/RFI experience, set-aside familiarity) - valued, not required
  • An existing book of commercial IT relationships ready to activate

We Believe in Diversity & Inclusion:
As a minority-owned company, we deeply value and prioritize inclusion and diversity within our organization. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce fosters innovation, creativity, and empathy, leading to a richer and more rewarding work environment. We are committed to cultivating a workplace where every team member feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. Join us and be a part of a team that celebrates diversity, cherishes different perspectives, and fosters a collaborative and supportive community.
