About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of service operations for utility-scale energy storage systems. This role is responsible for managing spare parts inventory, warranty requirements, long-term service agreement (LTSA) obligations, and warehouse operations. The Service Operations Manager will ensure efficient processes, compliance with contractual commitments, and timely delivery of parts and services to support customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What You Will Do
  • Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and distribution to support service and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee warranty administration, including claim processing, documentation, and compliance with manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Ensure fulfillment of LTSA obligations, including scheduled maintenance, parts availability, and performance guarantees.
  • Coordinate warehouse operations with our internal logistics team, including receiving, storage, and shipping of parts and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for inventory, warranty claims, and LTSA performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with service teams, engineering, and procurement to forecast parts demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines in all operations.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, warranty performance, and LTSA compliance for senior management.

Qualifications
What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in service operations, inventory management, or supply chain roles; experience in energy or industrial sectors preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warranty processes, contractual obligations, and service agreements.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
What is "Nice to Have"?
  • Experience managing LTSA programs and spare parts logistics for complex systems.
  • Knowledge of energy storage systems, renewable energy technologies, or large-scale industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and best practices.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
