Automotive Service Operations Manager
Los Lunas, New Mexico
An established, high-volume automotive dealership operation in Los Lunas is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
We're looking for a proven dealership service professional who understands how to lead a shop, develop people, improve processes and drive results.
What We're Looking For
The right candidate will have experience managing a franchised automotive service department and a strong understanding of:
  • Technician productivity and efficiency
  • Shop capacity and workflow
  • Customer-pay labor sales and effective labor rate
  • Hours per repair order
  • Warranty administration and manufacturer requirements
  • CSI and customer retention
  • Advisor performance and development
  • Technician recruiting and retention
  • Scheduling and departmental expense control
  • Service department financial statements and KPIs
The Person We're Looking For
You should be comfortable walking the shop, reviewing open repair orders, coaching advisors, working with technicians and using the numbers to identify where the department can improve.
We value managers who are visible, involved and accountable.
Previous domestic franchise dealership management experience is strongly preferred.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Service Manager, Service Director, Assistant Service Manager or Fixed Operations professional ready to take on a significant leadership role.
