Job description

  • Health insurance
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Training & development
  • Vision insurance

Be the engine of a brand-new operation, and the daily on-the-ground leader who keeps it running. We're launching PIRTEK in Omaha, and we need someone who can run the day-to-day (dispatch, team, inventory, and service quality) and grow into a true operations leader as we scale across two territories. This is a rare ground-floor seat with a real path up.
Who We're Looking For
We need a natural leader who can keep a fast-paced service operation running smoothly and a team of technicians motivated and equipped. Our best Operations Managers are organized, decisive, mechanically comfortable, and genuinely good with people, the kind of manager technicians want to work for. Hydraulic experience isn't required; we'll train you on the technical and software side. Leadership and operational instincts are what count.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, support, and hold accountable a team of hose service technicians
  • Field incoming calls and dispatch techs to service locations, the nerve center of the one-hour promise
  • Keep techs equipped: manage inventory, forecast needs, place purchase orders, and keep fill-rates high so no one drives back for a part
  • Drive service quality through training, coaching, and consistent standards
  • Keep equipment maintained and ready
  • Jump in on hose assembly and installation at the shop or in the field when needed
  • Help drive revenue through customer development and day-to-day support
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We Offer
  • $63,000 to $68,000 to start, depending on experience, plus a quarterly performance bonus tied to what you control: team utilization, emergency-response times, inventory fill-rate, and margin discipline. As we open our second territory, your base steps up and you take on both, first in line to lead.
  • Employer-paid life insurance from day one, and health insurance after a 90-day onboarding period (we cover 50% of your premium), with dental and vision available at group rates and a retirement plan planned as we grow
  • You use your own vehicle for work travel, including parts runs, reimbursed for mileage at the IRS standard rate, plus a company phone
  • Paid training with travel and lodging covered, and free uniforms

What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills, comfortable juggling priorities under pressure
  • Solid computer and software acumen for dispatch and inventory management
  • Mechanically inclined, comfortable with hand tools and equipment; able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Industrial, mechanical, or construction background a plus
  • Read, write, and communicate in English
  • Work well individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug and alcohol testing

Want to build an operation from the ground up? Apply today and help launch PIRTEK in Omaha.
Compensation: $63,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
