Service Manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead our service department. As Service Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all service operations, driving profitability, maximizing technician productivity, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to build and manage high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators including Gross Profit, Effective Labor Rate (ELR), and repair order growth.
  • Ensure technician productivity is maximized by effectively managing workflow and labor sales.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting as required by dealership leadership and manufacturer partners.
  • Partner closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts and efficient repair timelines.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining strong CSI performance and resolving escalated concerns.
  • Implement marketing strategies and service menus to increase customer pay business and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, hazardous materials, etc.).
  • Monitor repair order quality, minimize comebacks, and ensure all work meets dealership standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment for both employees and customers.
  • Conduct regular department meetings and performance reviews with staff.
