As an Applications Service Delivery Analytics Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide visibility into Application Managed Services (AMS) operational performance, contractual service measures, and governance across managed service agreements.
  • Implementing data models, reporting processes, and automation that support service capacity planning and utilization, work execution (Jira), service level reporting, and operational performance metrics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Determining meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing service delivery data, translating complex operational information into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership, Service Delivery Owners, and operational stakeholders.
  • Supporting governance and continuous improvement by maintaining accurate service performance reporting, validating contractual metrics, preparing executive reporting, and partnering with Service Delivery leadership to drive continuous improvement across multiple managed service agreements.
  • Supporting major service transitions, agreement modifications, expanded cross-functional reporting opportunities, and other strategic operational events, as needed.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience developing analytics, reporting solutions, or operational performance metrics in an IT service management, program management office, application support, managed services, or similar environment in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and reporting using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Experience analyzing complex operational data and translating findings into actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience working with data from multiple enterprise systems to support operational governance, performance management, or service delivery

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Ten (10) years of experience in IT service delivery, managed services, IT operations analytics, program management office, strategy office or enterprise application support in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience supporting Application Managed Services (AMS), ITIL-based service management, or outsourced service provider governance
  • Experience with Jira, ITSM, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics platforms
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement

Work location:
  • This position has the possibility for remote work for candidates located more than 50-miles from 3M Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Employees located within a commutable distance to 3M Global Headquarters must work on-site at least 4 days per week.
