What success looks like in this role:

The Director, Delivery Management for our CA&I portfolio has primary responsibility for practice management and strategic business development across multiple service lines, with direct leadership accountability for enterprise infrastructure delivery including network and data center services. This role owns financial and operational performance, client relationships, and people leadership while driving revenue, margin, service quality, and client satisfaction across a complex, enterprise managed services environment.

P&L / Practice Management

  • Maintains full responsibility and management for multiple service lines across the Cloud Applications & Infrastructure portfolio.
  • Provides end-to-end delivery leadership for infrastructure service lines, including network and data center operations.
  • Understands the meaning and implications of key financial indicators.
  • Manages all financials and operational metrics for the practice.
  • Translates the client's long-range business plan into a services strategy.
  • Ensures engagements consistently achieve or exceed revenue, margin, service level objectives, and quality targets.
  • Provides oversight of all engagements, including periodic meetings with client management and engagement teams.
  • Ensures appropriate intervention and personal involvement in potential problem engagements.

Client Relationship Management

  • Interfaces with client senior executives to generate additional business
  • Evaluates client business strategy, objectives, and requirements
  • Participates directly in pursuit of new business opportunities when appropriate
  • Assures full Unisys portfolio is leveraged across clients
  • Achieves and monitors client satisfaction targets
  • Mitigates client risks and promotes a positive Unisys image

People Management

  • Manages Leaders of Leaders; accountable for training, development, performance, and career pathing
  • Nominates and mentors new practice leaders
  • Participates in Unisys college/university recruiting
  • Partners with recruiting to maintain external talent pipelines
  • Provides mentoring, feedback, training, and development opportunities

Business and Industry Skills

  • Recognized as a domain expert by peers and clients
  • Builds client relationships and develops new business
  • Maintains awareness of IT infrastructure, industry trends, competitors, and vendor strategies

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure service lines, including network and data center environments, within a managed services model.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
  • 10+ years professional services experience in global IT managed services
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Industry certifications preferred
  • Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) preferred
  • Participation in professional associations
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Advanced prioritization and delegation skills
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers
