Job description

QED Systems, LLC is currently recruiting a Contracts Analyst to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties:

  • Supports the planning, initiating, tracking, and preparation of Acquisition Requirement Packages (ARPs), policies, contract administration support, and provides expert assistance in accordance with FAR regulations and other Army guidelines.
  • Develops/Reviews documents including, but not limited to:
    • Acquisition Plans and Strategies.
    • Performance Work Statements (PWS) / Statement of Objectives (SOO).
    • Requests for Proposal (RFP) / Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
    • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
    • Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP).
    • Service Contract Approval Requests.
    • Requests for Information.
    • Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
    • Cost Benefits Analyses.
    • Procurement Work Directives (PWDs).
    • Funds Requests.
    • Market Research.
    • Technical Evaluations.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations for any contract actions required to meet mission requirements.
  • Represents the PM at designated meetings with external organizations to discuss program requirements, contract/project planning, support, and operational needs, as requested by Product Office Leads.
  • Serves as the PM representative with all contracting agencies and may serve as technical advisor for source selection boards, when requested by the Government.
  • Assists with the review of, and provides recommendations related to, the Product Offices’ Contractors’ schedules, CDRL deliverables, IMS, and provide input and recommendations in the development, maintenance, and assessment of multiple concurrent program schedules.
  • Tracks, reviews, and manages data; makes recommendations related to the Product Offices’ Contractors’ deliverables and requests (information, item disposition, travel, shipment, and purchase requests).
  • Performs administrative duties in support of the Business Management Division to include maintaining databases, running internal reports, Paperless Contract Files uploads, and managing routine tracking tasks.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree preferably in program management, engineering, systems management, business management, computer sciences, information management, or related discipline.
  • Seven (7) years of applicable DoD contract management experience.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.
