Senior Trademark Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive trademark paralegal to support Apple's Trademark Group. This role requires a solid understanding of U.S. and international trademark prosecution, enforcement, and adverse proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, legal research, and drafting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside counsel. Successful candidates will be comfortable navigating complex issues and competing priorities, and will approach problem-solving in a creative and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, AA degree, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a paralegal or equivalent
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing documents and correspondence related to U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, and extracting relevant information for docketing systems
  • Experience preparing documents and correspondence relating to trademark prosecution, including filings, registrations, and renewals
  • Experience reviewing trademark documents such as watch notices, office actions, provisional refusals, and notices of irregularity
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and self-sufficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SAEGIS and WebTMS
  • Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Paralegal certificate with trademark specialization
  • Experience with both law firm and in-house docketing systems
  • Experience in technology and consumer electronics industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while managing a high-volume workload and collaborating effectively within a large team in a fast-paced environment

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $54.25 and $81.34/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
