We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

This role will involve leading complex IT and business projects, managing resources, budgets, and timelines, and driving transformation and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in project and program management, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership, with expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Job Description:

Project / Program Planning & Management

  • Develop comprehensive project plans using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution.

  • Utilize departmental tools for project management, tracking, and reporting.

Team Leadership

  • Lead project teams and mentor junior project managers to ensure effective delivery.

  • Promote collaboration and accountability within project and PMO teams.

  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and drive change management and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure clarity in team roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and project sponsors.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and executive management.

  • Align project objectives with business goals through active stakeholder engagement.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.

  • Monitor and report project progress and performance across all stages of the delivery lifecycle.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets in compliance with governance requirements.

  • Allocate resources efficiently through demand and capacity planning.

  • Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to financial constraints.

Transformation & Organizational Change Management

  • Lead transformation and change management activities to ensure solution adoption and process integration.

Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and refine project management methodologies and processes.

  • Support PMO continuous improvement initiatives and stay informed on emerging project management trends.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience managing multiple IT and business projects.

    • Associate’s degree counts as two (2) years of experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher counts as four (4) years of experience.

  • Two (2) or more years in a lead role collaborating across multiple divisions and stakeholder levels.

  • PMP or PgMP Certification.

  • CSM or SAFe Certification.

  • 2 years of experience with MS Project.

  • 1 year of experience with Azure DevOps.

  • 1 year of experience with Jira.

  • 1 year of experience with GitHub.


Desired Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+

  • Cisco (CCNP)

  • Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE) or CISSP

  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

Skills:

  • Experience with PPM tools.

  • Cybersecurity knowledge: CISSP, CISM.

  • Networking expertise: CCNA, CCNP.

  • Infrastructure and Cloud experience: ITIL, Azure, or AWS certifications.
