We are working with a multi-billion dollar MFG organization in the north suburbs of Chicago seeking a Senior Technical Accountant.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Prepare journal entries for specific P&L line items
  • Prepare Financial Statement footnotes and other SEC areas
  • Research technical accounting pronouncements, work with external consultants on technical accounting memos
  • Contribute to process improvement projects over controls and reporting
  • Perform research for complex transactions


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting or for a large multi national organization required
  • Experience with technical accounting or SEC Reporting required
