The Disney Experiences Technology teamis responsible forthe end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including theMyDisneyExperienceapp andHey, Disney!

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer with Atlassian Development experience to support our B2B Products with as we leverage Atlassian Cloud and its surrounding ecosystem, including plugins, integrations, and platform applications. Responsibilities include all aspects of development, support, configuration, and automation for these business-critical applications and support of ongoing project work to implement Atlassian Cloud products.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Implement Atlassian Cloud features by driving technical aspects of the implementation, including data, plugins, infrastructure, andfunctionality.

  • Architect business-critical functionality for users as needed by coding, prototyping, scripting, or outlining solutions.
    Create, manage, and support all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian Cloud product suite.

  • Develop all critical aspects of Atlassian Cloud tooling including but not limited to application development, workflows, screen schemes, automations, JQL, reporting, permissions, notifications, custom fields, marketplace add-ons, and integrations.

  • Investigate and perform advanced troubleshooting for reported issues in B2B products. Manage escalations with internal or third-party support, asrequired.

  • Gather requirements for business processes anddetermineways tooptimizeandimprove softwaresetup and workflows, as well asidentifywhere functionality needs to improve to meet user requests.Work closely with internal teams to understand their business challenges to build solutions that meet their unique needs with B2B products.

  • Serve assubjectmatter expert for B2B productsand support teams across the organization that use B2B products to manage their work.

  • Research products including vendor roadmapthatcanbe used for continuous improvements.

  • Evaluate and recommend new plugins/applications to enhanceB2B functionality, including installing, managing, andadministeringgplugins/applications.

  • Understandsystemsarchitecturetoidentifyupstream and downstream impacts when implementing solutions.

  • Create andmaintaindocumentation on Atlassian Cloud product configurations, automations, and processes tofacilitatechange management and training for internal teams.

  • Work closely with other Disney teams and vendors on maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

  • Refine current Jira processes to be more streamlined and uniform for teams.

  • Execute Production deployments during non-business hours.

  • Must havecustomer-service driven mindset with strong relationship building skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of5+years of job experience in a large Atlassian environment (~10,000 users)

  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud product suite

  • Expertisein Forge App Development and coding best practices for Atlassian Cloud

  • Proficient knowledge and coding/scripting experience using Python, Groovy, or similar languages

  • Expert with REST API and JSON

  • Proficient in Confluence space administration

  • Deepexpertisein Jira workflow administration, Automation for Jira,ScriptRunnerand JQL skills

  • Process governance experience or strong automation workflow knowledge

  • Proventrack recordwith Atlassian plugin installations and upgrades

  • Hands-on experience supporting Atlassian tools in on-prem or AWS environments

  • Experience with Agilemethodologylifecycle and working on an Agile delivery team

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English and attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders

  • Demonstrates awareness of the broader Disney technical infrastructure to be able to extrapolate impact of changes in thearchitecture.

  • Knowledge of major components of relevant technologies.

  • Basic experience in technical project management from an engineering perspective.

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $111,900 to $150,000 per year, in Anaheim, CA and Glendale, CA is $117,500 to $157,500 and in Seattle, WA is $123,000 to $165,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
