Come grow with us!Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a team utilizing expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. This position supports the development of reliable, secure, and high-quality hardware/software systems while contributing to architectural decisions and designing robust interfaces for seamless integration across Missile Defense System (MDS) platforms.**As a Senior Systems Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:*** Participate in hardware/software engineering activities, including mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.* Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.* Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.* Ensure hardware/software engineering and assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.* Provide technical guidance by assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.**Required Qualifications:*** U.S. Citizenship.* Master's degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent experience* 10+ years of related professional experience.* Active Secret Security Clearance.* Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes.* Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes.* Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.* Strong professional communication and organizational skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** 12 years of related professional experience.* Missile Defense Agency (MDA) experience.* Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design.* Knowledge of Digital Engineering principles.* Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities).**Schedule:** Fulltime, M-F**Work Location:** Onsite, Huntsville, Alabama**Travel:** 0-10%**Relocation Assistance Available:** No**Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract:** No#LI-DK1 **Benefits:**Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.**Applying to Torch Technologies:**Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
