Senior Stock & Options Trader (7+ Years Experience)

Overview
Seeking highly experienced Stock and Options Trader with over a 7+ years of success in analyzing financial markets and stocks, executing option trading strategies, and managing risk across diverse portfolios. Demonstrates deep expertise in equity markets, options and volatility-based strategies, with a strong track record of profitability and capital preservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute trades in equities, options, and ETFs across various market conditions
  • Develop and implement advanced trading strategies (e.g. spreads, straddles, covered calls, and selling puts)
  • Conduct in-depth technical and fundamental analysis to identify trading opportunities
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events impacting asset prices
  • Manage portfolio risk through position sizing and diversification techniques
  • Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions under pressure
  • Utilize trading and quoting platforms (e.g., Investor’s Business Daily, Dorsey Wright and Quodd) for execution and analysis
  • Maintain strict adherence to risk management protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Requires ability to trade in high-pressure situations
  • Requires extended screen time and real-time decision-making during market hours
  • This is a 1099 position. There is opportunity to work some from home

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics
  • 7+ years of active trading experience in stocks and options
