Peregrine's experienced staff knows the cybersecurity and operational technology environment and provides these capabilities for our customers daily.
Summary:
The Software Architect V is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-level software architectures for complex projects and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Develops and implements high level project architectures - specifications for platform configurations, subsystem specifications, protocols, and interfaces
  • Supports, develops, and implements evolution of existing systems into target architectures
  • Technical Project Management
    • Will utilize project management tools to coordinate and plan development work
    • Meet regularly with the technical lead team to report progress, set priorities and coordinate requirements gathering
    • Gather requirements
    • Help develop timelines
    • Ensure developers are available to develop software to meet those timelines
    • Coordinate with Technical team for Release scheduling

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proven experience developing and implementing complex software architectures
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, architectural principles, protocols, and interfaces
  • Infrastructure Development:
    • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Utilize Terraform and Crossplane to provision cloud resources via code
    • Understand GIT and ArgoCD to automate the deployment of cloud resources
    • Google Cloud Platform Kubernetes Engines (GKE)
    • GCP cloud monitoring tools
    • Virtual Private Cloud
    • Cloud Identity Access Management

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software design, development, and architecture

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
