As a Program Security Manager in Richardson, TX, you will promote regulatory compliance with contractually required Department of Defense security regulations through effective training and influence and advise program leadership and staff on multiple efficient options within the security policy space. In achieving this, You will interact and partners with senior peers from program Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to meet program objectives. You will need to be a Self-motivated leader with the ability to make independent decisions, research and provide security explanations from documentations, instructions, guides, and other directives while directly supporting the enterprise SOAC program, reporting to the Collins Industrial Security Leader.
** This is an onsite position in Richardson, TX. **
What YOU will do:
  • Long-range planning (LRP) to meet global security compliance requirements and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including interacting with internal and external security professionals and government customer organizations.
  • Managing contract security reviews to ensure requirements are consistent with the NISPOM Rule 32 CFR Part 117, and various other Department of Defense directives as specified in the DD254 and contract Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Representing GSS leadership and successfully execute GSS strategy and tactics, positioning plans to advocate a partnership with the customer community that promotes a positive, healthy, and proactive customer relationship.
  • Advise and assist local government, military, and company security managers in solving security matters at deployed field sites in the continental United States and abroad.
  • Researching contractual (SOW, CDRL, etc.) documents, internal directives, and the NISPOM Rule for security applicability and impact analysis.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs.

  • Broad knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems to provide enhancements within job area.
  • An Advanced degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Cyber/Technology Management.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
