About the Role:
We have a current opening for a Senior Procurement Manager - IT, Professional Services & Benefits and are actively reviewing applications.
Reporting to the Head of General Procurement, North America, the Senior Procurement Manager will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across IT, Professional Services, and Employee Benefits. This role is responsible for driving stategic procurement activities, leading supplier negotiations, managing key supplier relationships, and delivering value through cost optimization, risk management, innovation, and operational excellence.
Partnering closely with IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders, you will drive strategic sourcing projects, contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and procurement best practices across North America. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in indirect procurement, category management, stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationship management within a complex, matrixed organization.
This position is hybrid, and will be based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Develop and execute category strategies across IT, Professional Services, and Benefits that drive cost savings, service improvements, working capital optimization, supplier innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier evaluations, spend analysis, market assessments, supplier consolidation, and regional sourcing projects.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify value creation opportunities and mitigate risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement and procurement best practices across assigned categories.

Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Negotiation
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and rate card management.
  • Negotiate agreements that maximize value while balancing total cost of ownership (TCO), service levels, quality, innovation, and risk.
  • Manage supplier relationships through supplier segmentation, business reviews, KPI tracking, SLA compliance, and supplier risk assessments.
  • Monitor supplier performance, financial stability, and compliance to maintain a resilient, high-performing supplier portfolio.

Stakeholder Partnership & Business Engagement
  • Partner with Technology, HR, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and deliver sourcing solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to execute sourcing strategies, share best practices, and support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Procurement Governance & Value Delivery
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities, ensuring appropriate contract coverage, utilization, compliance, and supplier governance.
  • Track and report procurement savings, working capital improvements, supplier performance, and overall value creation.
  • Support procurement operations, including purchase order and supplier master data processes, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, governance standards, and corporate procedures.

About You:
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply management.
  • Proven expertise in category strategy development, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and spend optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies, including RFI, RFP, RFQ, supplier evaluation, market analysis, risk management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing one or more of the following categories: Information Technology, Software/SaaS, Cloud Services, Professional Services, Employee Benefits, Consulting Services, or Managed Services.
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed, or multicultural organization.
  • Knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba.

Education
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.

Preferred
  • Master's degree (MBA or related field).
  • Professional procurement or supply chain certification (CPSM, CPM, CIPS, CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent).

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and change management skills, with the ability to build partnerships across business functions and supplier organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations and influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships across cross-functional, regional, and global teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

The base salary range for this position is $122,854.00 - $163,806.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
