Position Summary

The Finance Reporting Senior Analyst for Construction, Real Estate, and Facilities is a key partner in driving operational performance and cost efficiency. In this role, you will assist in the reporting of capital projects and programs from a budget, forecast and reporting aspect to support the Construction and Properties department. You will build and maintain reports, assist with dashboards, and visualizations to ensure data integrity, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and process improvements. Supporting multiple department managers with accrual, forecast and budget requirements, you will help ensure accurate reporting and process improvements.

  • Reporting on annual capital budgeting, monthly forecasting, and departmental financial reporting for Construction and Properties/Facilities, including forecasting of cash flow and historical trends.
  • Drive and implement process enhancements and innovations to streamline and ensure the accuracy of financial forecasts, commitments, and budgets for all capital programs and projects.
  • Provide financial guidance and analytical support to multiple business segments, including Shared Services, PBM and Non-Retail Business Units.
  • Conduct various business analyses, portfolio project alignment, and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Participate in cross-functional capital projects with other internal CVS departments, fostering collaboration and alignment.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Budget and Financial Planning

  • Annual Budget Development: Collaborate with non-retail management and external groups to submit the department's annual budget, aligning it with business timelines and supporting existing business initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:Provide portfolio project alignment, financial reporting, forecast, and budget requirements support to multiple department managers.

Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Management

  • Capital Accruals:Assist in the development of quarterly/year-end capital accruals, ~$10M-$12M average.
  • Capital Reallocation submission and log maintenance for owned business segments.
  • Invoice Review and Approval:Review and approve department CapEx invoices using ServiceChannel.
  • Capital Trades Repairs and Maintence program Power BI Dashboard bi-weekly updates


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, Construction Finance, or equivalent experience required
  • Technical Skills Required: Proficient and Advanced Skills in Excel and willing to learn new technical requirements
  • Strong cross-functional relationship/collaboration experience required
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet aggressive deadline deliverables
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Background in financial analysis, database management and process improvements, using data and research preferred
  • Technical Skills Preferred: Tririga, SAP S4, Fiori, Access, and Power BI
  • Presentation skills - Ability to develop and present to various levels within the organization

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
