Job description

Senior Quality Control Engineer Working Title: Mechanical – Piping – Welding Inspector

Additional Duties

- Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to mechanical, piping and welding, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards.

- Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue NonConformance reports as required.

- Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment

Additional Experience Qualifications

- Practical field experience in mechanical, piping, and welding quality control within the past 16 months. (Preferred)

- Candidates with an AWS CWI or prior SNT-TC-1A VT Level II certification are preferred.

- Prior work experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program. (Required) -
Prior DOE work experience. (Required)

- Well-developed organizational skills with good communication skills. (Required)
