Job description

SES Air Force Division Automated Test Systems (ATS) Enterprise is seeking an accomplished Senior Program Manager to lead the integration, testing, and sustainment of a portfolio of complex ATS and manual testers.  


Specific tasks include:  Provide leadership, direction, and implementation management oversight of the design, fabrication, or modification of hardware or software systems for Department of Defense Automated Test Systems and Equipment (ATS/ATE), and Test Program Sets (TPS).  Provide daily supervision and direction to staff, setting program priorities, resolving conflicts and barriers, planning and coordinating schedule activities involving projects or tasks across the ATS Enterprise.  Analyze interdependencies between related projects and provide cross-departmental collaboration with other functional areas.  Perform business and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting. Produce management plans, financial documents, and presentation graphics.  Coordinate vendor relationships and review deliverables.  Exhibit exceptionally effective communication skills.  Utilize SES data platforms and provide products utilizing Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project, and general computer knowledge.


Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.

Experience Required: At least 12 years Program Management experience with DoD projects and at least 7 years in a leadership position.   Must be autonomously disciplined with a proven track record of directing and driving the success of teams, applying hands-on approach to leading organizations, processes, and personnel.  Providing technical expertise and leadership in program, project, operations, engineering, software, and production management.  Excel at overcoming obstacles to consistently balance cost, quality, and schedule, ensuring all goals are met. 

Experience Desired:  Experience in Automated Test Systems and Equipment (ATS/ATE) development, integration, testing, and fielding is highly desirable.  Experience in acquisition and sustainment logistics, developing technical data, training, supply support

and managing systems sustainment logistics support.  Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Electronics experience is a plus.

Must possess and maintain Secret Security Clearance.  Travel up to 10% within the US and some overseas may be required.
