Senior Program Manager
JOB LOCATION: Huntsville, Alabama
JOB STATUS: Full Time
CLEARANCE: Secret
Travel: 20%
Astrion has an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Program Manager to work in Huntsville, Alabama. The Senior Program Manager is a strategic leader who supports the Utility Helicopters Project Manager (UHPO) whose duties will oversee and coordinate multiple related projects to achieve overarching organizational goals. They are responsible for ensuring a program's overall success by managing budgets, resources, schedules, reporting, and stakeholders at a high level. The Senior Program Manager will define and communicate the program vision, scope, and objectives to align with UHPO broader strategic goals. Identify and mitigate program-level risks, issues, and develop mitigation strategies to meet Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer requirements. Senior Program Manager will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team and other staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Communicate and manage customer expectations with Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and contracted vendors. Evaluate program performance against key metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and learning. Ensure the program adheres to United States Government (USG) policies, procedures, and quality standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelors degree
  • 15 years of relevant DoD experience
  • Experience working with other Department of Defense (DoD) organizations as well as industry partners
  • Experience supporting FMS acquisition programs

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides support to the analysis of results and preparation of reports and documentation in accordance with applicable DoD standards and regulations.
  • Receives guidance from senior level managers, functional leads and/or analysts to work as part of a team to accomplish the assigned tasks.
  • Provides evidence of possessing organization skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance or oversight.
  • Ability to work several high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate within a team and senior leaders.
  • Self-starter, detail oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and possess excellent organizational skills.
