Job description

MTSI is seeking a Senior Level Program Manager to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The PM will develop plans addressing cost. schedule and performance in execution.

The individual will identify, assess, and develop mitigation plans for risks to acquisition programs. The PM will create products to convey project health and other programmatic details to senior leaders. Strong communication and soft skills will be used in leading small teams in early system engineering, analysis and integration activities.

The focus will be on capability development and integration to address the highest priority capability gaps of the Department of the Air Force. You'll be a great fit for this role if: You have a passion for aerospace, defense, and space systems and advanced technologies. You understand the urgent need to modernize our defense systems and give our warfighters the best possible tools.

You are driven to make a meaningful impact through your work. Responsibilities: Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Programmatic o Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met. o Develop strategies and vision for projects related to emerging technology in capability development.

o Develop and implement corrective action plans when deviations from budgets and/or schedules are evident. o Exercise capability development process (formally JCIDS), Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), and DoD acquisition processes o Support documentation, staffing, and compliance with applicable policies and governance structures o Assist in aligning capability efforts with strategic guidance (e.g., NDS, service strategies) Capability Development Support o Refine and document capability gaps in support of requirements development, refinement, and staffing o Ensure traceability from strategic guidance to capability requirements Cross-Functional Integration o Coordinate across Air Staff, MAJCOMs, and Combatant Commands sponsors o Facilitate integration between requirements, acquisition, science & technology (S&T), and operational stakeholders Analytical & Technical Support o Oversee mission engineering, operational analysis, and trade studies to inform capability decisions o Evaluate alternatives and support courses of action (COA) development Qualifications Required: Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years related experience in above areas. A solid professional reputation in above mentioned communities

The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoW, military/civilian personnel and industry partners researching, producing, and disseminating products. Solid leadership and management skills, particularly "influence management" and "conflict resolution". Strong communication skills - written and verbal, presentation.

Solid problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Even better if you have these desired skills: Successful track record in managing aerospace/defense programs.

Knowledge and expertise in capability development and integration including MS&A activities that support programs within the USAF. 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 3 years highly preferred. Understanding of system of systems, operations and adversary capability.

Education: MA/MS + 10 YOE BA/BS + 18 YOE 22 YOE Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active DoW TS/SCI with in-scope SSBI and SAP eligibility. U.S. Citizenship is required
