What to expect
REBUS is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team and help us continue expanding our cloud-based platform. The Rebus Platform offers exceptional user experiences for distribution teams through real-time, intelligent visibility into warehouse operations.
    
  • Please Note: This position is based in Montreal, Quebec. You will have great flexibility to work in a hybrid/remote environment.
Once you join our team, you will... 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and identify business and customer needs.
  • Translate high-level requirements into beautiful, modern, intuitive user interfaces. This includes designing wireframes and mockups that effectively illustrate your concepts.
  • Maintain an in-house UI component library (including buttons, dropdowns, icons, etc.) and promote user-centered design standards across the product team.
  • Provide design guidance and support to software developers during implementation.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and product performance.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in web design, user experience design, human factors/psychology, or similar.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in roles such as Senior Product Designer, Senior UI Designer, Senior UX Designer, or similar.
  • 3-5+ years of experience producing low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
  • Figma is used here and highly preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience designing SaaS products — preference given to those with experience in large-scale, feature-rich, data-centric platforms in an Agile environment.
  • Experience creating and enforcing UI component libraries or design systems is preferred.

  • A passion for solving complex business and user problems and translating them into simple, modern, effective designs.
  • A proactive and energetic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present and defend design decisions to team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to speak up when solutions are not ideal and communicate recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles is required
  • A general understanding of front-end languages such as HTML/Sass/JavaScript is a plus.
