BUYER

OPPORTUNITY: Buyer

The Buyer will support the day-to-day procurement activities for a rapidly growing engineering organization developing highly engineered power generation products. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this individual will execute purchasing activities that keep Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations moving by managing supplier communication, purchase orders, logistics coordination, and material deliveries. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where organization, technical curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement are essential to success.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Buyer

  • Execute end-to-end purchasing activities, including requisition review, RFQs, purchase order creation, supplier communication, and order management.
  • Support the Senior Procurement Manager with supplier onboarding, sourcing activities, and procurement execution.
  • Track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries while ensuring materials arrive on time to support engineering and production schedules.

  • You understand how to balance procurement priorities with technical requirements while coordinating effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and suppliers.
  • You have experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems and procurement data to improve purchasing accuracy, supplier visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where you are executing procurement activities, building supplier relationships, and continuously improving purchasing processes rather than simply maintaining mature systems.

COMPENSATION: Buyer

A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance-based bonus.
