ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Project Manager oversees precast construction projects from early design and engineering through production, erection, and final closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners. The Senior Project Manager also supports sales and construction services by managing risk, resolving issues, and driving successful project execution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead large, complex precast projects from pre-design through completion and closeout
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners throughout project development
  • Review construction documents and identify constructability issues and design constraints
  • Manage project schedules, cost reports, billing forecasts, and overall financial performance
  • Oversee contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and scope modifications
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with production and erection teams to ensure alignment with project plans and schedules
  • Monitor project progress using tracking reports, schedules, and production data
  • Participate in subcontractor meetings and support field safety and quality audits
  • Lead and mentor project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is an experienced construction leader with a strong background in managing complex precast projects from start to finish. They are highly organized, financially and operationally savvy, and skilled at coordinating multiple stakeholders across design, production, and field operations. This individual is a confident communicator and problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, effectively manages risk, and consistently drives projects to successful completion.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of project management experience in precast construction
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers, is required
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and multiple trade coordination
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make timely decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a motor vehicle

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.
