Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Frame Finishing Manager to oversee all aspects of our finishing department, including surface preparation, powder coating, quality control, decal application, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in powder coating operations, production management, and continuous process improvement while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the frame finishing department, including pretreatment, powder coating, curing, decaling, and final inspection.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor finishing department employees to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Ensure all powder coating processes meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot coating defects, equipment issues, and process inconsistencies.
  • Maintain inventory of powders, chemicals, and finishing supplies.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance for powder coating equipment, ovens, conveyors, and spray systems.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and OSHA compliance.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial powder coating systems and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, pretreatment, curing cycles, and coating quality standards.
  • Experience managing production schedules and personnel.
  • Ability to read production drawings and specifications.
