Description:

QuikCut, LLC is expanding and seeking Powder Coat Painters on 2nd shift for our Columbia City, IN location. Powder Coat Painters are responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal surfaces using powder coating techniques to ensure a high-quality, durable finish. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required
  • Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment
  • Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper finish
  • Load and unload parts from the conveyor line
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
