Overview
US Premier Tube Mills (USPTM) is a leading and growing domestic supplier of residential galvanized and powder coated pipe dedicated to quality, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service.
USPTM has an immediate opportunity for a General Laborer. The General Laborer is responsible for:
  • Offloading tube from Mill or Powder Coat line tables into bundles
  • Operating banding gun to band bundles together with steel strips

Responsibilities
  • Verify quality of the tube as you are bundling to prevent quality issues
  • Continual lifting and pushing throughout shift required 10-50 Lbs (team lifting required for over 50lbs)
  • General facility cleaning when operations slow down
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' Industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent in related field preferred
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of forming\weld mills a strong plus
  • Ability to help change over machinery to run different products
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing ops process and procedures preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive work under limited supervision
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
