Senior Promotional Copywriter

VUE Health | Boston, MA | Remote


VUE Health, an independent pharmaceutical advertising agency in Boston, is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Promotional Copywriter to join our growing creative team.


This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, concept-driven writer who understands the unique demands of pharmaceutical advertising and knows how to turn complex science and clinical data into compelling, memorable communications that connect with healthcare professionals and patients.


As a Senior Promotional Copywriter, you will partner closely with art directors, designers, account teams, strategists, and medical colleagues to develop creative concepts and execute promotional materials across a variety of pharmaceutical and healthcare brands.


What You'll Do

  • Develop compelling, strategically sound copy and creative concepts for pharmaceutical promotional campaigns.
  • Write and edit content for a wide range of materials, including digital campaigns, websites, emails, sales aids, presentations, social media, and other promotional materials.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, and medical information into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate communications.
  • Collaborate with art directors and creative team members to bring integrated concepts to life.
  • Partner with account, strategy, and medical teams to ensure work aligns with brand strategy, client objectives, and promotional requirements.
  • Present creative concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining the strategic and creative integrity of the work.
  • Ensure all copy meets pharmaceutical promotional standards and is accurate, compelling, and consistent with approved messaging.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.


What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical promotional advertising copywriting, preferably within an agency environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating pharmaceutical or healthcare promotional work.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience developing promotional materials for healthcare professional and/or patient audiences.
  • The ability to understand and communicate complex scientific and medical information clearly and creatively.
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented approach to creative work.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred.

The Details

This is a hybrid position based in Boston, MA, with an expectation that team members will work in the office 2-3 days per week. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Boston office.
