Job Description

FINANCIAL ANALYST & SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - Westchester County NY

Responsibilities:

*Analyzes and reports on business performance: Monthly performance, AOP, Quarterly Forecasting, cost price developments, strategic decisions.

*Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analyses, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, scenario analyses etc.

*Bring relevant financial issues to the attention of relevant stakeholders. *Participates in various cross sector Finance improvement projects * Review and analyze current and historical financial data

* Preparing the annual budget and forecast,

*Prepare P&L analysis

* Analyze variances from forecasted plan, report results, and recommend solutions

* Collaborate with managers to participate in the preparation of annual plan and quarterly forecasts

*Ad hoc financial analysis

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university is required.

Minimum of five years of financial analysis exp; preferably within a professional services firm

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including advanced Excel skills

Experience with data retrieval and reporting systems such as Hyperion Financial Management, PeopleSoft Financials, or SAP Business Objects

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder, No Relocation candidates will be considered.
