BHS Intralogistics is a comprehensive solutions provider for intralogistics in the corrugated cardboard industry. We are seeking a full-time Senior Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Neutraubling.

That's what you like to do:
  • Standard-compliant product development for our handling and logistics systems for corrugated cardboard plants:
    • iShuttle ® – Our autonomous transport vehicle for the material flow of paper rolls from the roll store to the corrugator
    • iPrep ® – Our system for automatic pre-processing of paper rolls
    • Transfer Station – Our stationary lifting device for handling paper rolls
  • Independently selecting and designing mechanical and electronic components for new products and systems, and optimizing existing systems
  • Managing and overseeing development projects and guiding them through to production readiness
  • Supporting the QM team in establishing processes, such as those for validating and testing components and parts
  • Contributing to the creation of technical documentation
  • As part of an agile team, you enjoy working across disciplines with colleagues from mechanical design, sensor technology, and software
That makes you stand out:
  • You have successfully completed a degree in mechatronics or a related field and have gained several years of practical experience (>5 years)
  • You have experience calculating required performance data and sizing electrical components (motors, sensors, batteries, etc.)
  • You have experience working with communication systems such as CAN
  • You have experience in software development (preferably C++)
  • You have experience in structured problem-solving and work independently and systematically
  • You are proficient in using electrical measuring instruments
  • You have knowledge in the field of mobile robotics (AGVs/AMRs)
  • You have knowledge of motor control via inverters
  • You have basic knowledge of product development (standards, CE, etc.)
  • You bring a hands‑on approach to both electrical and mechanical work
