Job Summary: The Control and Senior Maintenance Technician plays a critical safety-sensitive role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and production equipment. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will help maintain efficient and safe production operations while minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Troubleshoot the equipment to the mechanical, electrical, component, and hardware levels. Repair of the production equipment back to the OEM level with precise knowledge and parts to facilitate the long-term repairs on the equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime. Calibrations of test equipment that are used to verify our production equipment is within the specified ranges. Use of a DM in all aspects, Amprobe, Decatran, temp measuring devices in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Able to perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Able to suggest and implement improvements for the equipment and operators with approval.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and plant maintenance issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs for equipment, parts and repairs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations and company work instructions.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5-10 years of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical AC and DC voltages, Drives, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems are REQUIRED.
  • Calibration and test equipment.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Basic math and computer skills to work in SAP.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: CMRT, OSHA 10/30, Forklift, etc.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
  • Must have visual acuity, speech and hearing ability, and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on equipment as required.
  • Able to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
  • Work in environments with high noise, temperature fluctuations, dust, and chemicals.
  • Daily use of required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, occasional weekends, and overtime as needed.
