Job description

Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide contracting support services. This position will support DoD clients in Stafford, VA, on a hybrid schedule. The salary range is $80K/yr-$110K/yr.

Some advantages to working on our team:

  2. Flexible work schedule to allow for appointments and personal events
  3. Opportunities for travel, but no more than 25%

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive acquisition support for programs/efforts.
  • Review and update published Technical Manuals, draft Instructional Type documents, conduct reviews, Validations/Verifications (V/V), and report findings to ensure the system is properly documented for Marine Corps users.
  • Conduct research and analysis and develop and deliver a report on support equipment requirements.
  • Review and correct documentation for technical, architectural, accuracy, adequacy, completeness, to ensure document compliance.
  • Prepare, modify, review, and/or recommend changes to logistics documentation that may pertain to product changes or procedures.
  • Execute cataloging. Update program provisioning plans. Update the provisioning technical data and engineering data for provisioning.
  • Conduct document and data management; prepare informational briefings; perform PDREP action point responsibilities to review, research, and recommend solutions to the PQDRs; review/answer Engineering Support Requests equipment daily or as required; and review and answer Publication Change Request.
  • Reviewing technical data packages to ensure deliverables meet the requirements.
  • Conduct Total Life Cycle Management Operational Support readiness research.
  • Support integrated master plans and integrated master schedules

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the logistics field supporting DoD clients.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate information both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to work with a wide audience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage tasks/prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Advanced Excel skills
