Position Overview
The Blue Yonder Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Blue Yonder supply chain solutions. This role will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to configure and enhance Blue Yonder platforms, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Blue Yonder modules along with a solid understanding of supply chain processes, including warehouse management, forecasting, and demand planning.
Key Responsibilities
Development & System Configuration
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within Blue Yonder platforms
  • Configure system modules including WMS, Demand Planning, Fulfillment, or Transportation
  • Develop customizations, integrations, and enhancements using Blue Yonder tools and frameworks
  • Write and maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Integration & Technical Support
  • Build and support integrations between Blue Yonder and other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, defects, and performance challenges
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements

Business & Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams to support business objectives
  • Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical expertise

Testing & Implementation
  • Support system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Assist in deployment activities and ensure smooth implementation of system changes
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting

Documentation & Process Improvement
  • Maintain technical documentation for system configurations and enhancements
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and user experience
  • Support best practices in system governance, data integrity, and process standardization

Skills We Are Seeking
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field a plus
  • 3+ years of experience with Blue Yonder platforms
  • Hands-on experience with one or more modules:
    • Warehouse Management (WMS)
    • Demand Planning / Forecasting
    • Supply Chain Planning
    • Experience working in supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments
    • Experience with system integrations and APIs
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Knowledge of SQL, Java, or related programming languages
    • Experience with Blue Yonder WMS strongly preferred
    • Experience with cloud-based Blue Yonder solutions
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
