Senior Principal Insurance
About the Role -
The applicant should have experience in advising Insurance client executives, both business and IT, and experience leading teams for digital transformation, platform modernization programs, product development and internal/external consulting engagements. Applicant should have some of the following experiences in the P&C industry:
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Product experience:
  • Personal Lines (Vehicle/Auto, Motor Cycle, Watercraft, Fire), Property Lines (Home, renters, Condo, etc.)
  • Commercial Lines (Property, Auto, Marine, General Liability, Business Insurance, Workers Compensation, Farm)
  • Functional Areas - Product development, Product Consolidation, P&C Claims Management and Distribution Management
  • Experience in Insurance Brokerage - Areas include Submission Management, Carrier Management, Risk Management Programs, Policy renewals, Reinsurance, Claims and TPA
  • Experience to latest trends and disruptive innovations in Insurance space like Embedded insurance, Uberization of Agency Models, Touchless claims, Virtual Agents, etc.
  • Digital transformation programs or modernization programs.
  • Platform implementations, legacy transformation, and digitization of services across the P&C value chain.
  • Business operations in problem identification, analysis, and recommendation - analysis of current state, root cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future state.
  • Property and Casualty platforms like Guidewire, DuckCreek, Majesco, EIS, Applied Systems, etc.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience with 5 years of experience in comparable consulting services.

  • Strategic mindset and the ability to lead and develop other project managers.
  • Multitask, engage with stakeholders, plan effectively, and consistently achieve operational goals.
  • Act as a liaison and spokesperson for the program.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to identify program risk and develop mitigation strategies, have program level financial acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate with resources in global delivery model.
  • Experience in leading programs using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 9 years or more years combined Manufacturing Industry with experience in Management Consulting Services.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, including identification of leads and opportunities, pre-sales and post-sales support and client relationship management
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree, Industry-related certification preferred.

Additional Consulting Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship and Development: Represents Infosys to client - leads team's interactions with client. Routinely and effectively handles senior client interactions, including problems and escalations. Builds and maintains senior client relationships that can be leveraged to sell additional Infosys work.
  • Client Delivery: Manages complex client delivery programs. Responds well to delivery challenges. Anticipates client needs and finds solutions.
  • Value and Expertise: Establishes clear platform and builds out knowledge, IP and team to deliver platform offerings. Mentors and teaches others in platform area. Establishes national-level reputation as internal expert in platform area.
  • People Development and Learning: Coaches project team members and counselees on both soft and hard skills. Adjusts style and approach to get the most out of each individual. Identifies and addresses training and development needs of project team members and counselees. Supports delivery of formal and informal training programs; actively engages in developing and delivering training.
  • Leadership and Firm Development: Demonstrates excellent project leadership. Sets objectives, monitors performance, provides feedback. Balances firm and team member priorities. Leads innovation for project or practice. Identifies opportunities, leads design and realization, improves delivery or offerings. Plays key role in practice or firm-level initiatives and leadership activities. Plays a key role in practice or firm-building activities. Takes bottom-line responsibility for firm building deliverables or activities.
  • Sales: Manages pursuit and proposal work, raising decisions to partner for sign-off. Brings new leads to Associate Partners and Partners. Opens conversations with new and existing clients that lead to revenue generating opportunities. Presents effectively in orals and sales meetings- can sell self and others.

Estimated annual gross compensation will be as follows: In CA/ WA/ NY/NJ/IL/CO: $210,000 to $256,667
