About The Role Peraton Labs is seeking a poly cleared Senior Infrastructure Engineer to implement, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse research infrastructure systems. You'll work with a cross-functional Peraton Labs infrastructure, security, and software support team, and interface directly with the customer to ensure systems are mission-ready, resilient, and compliant. This position requires full-time on-site work at a customer site near College Park, MD. *This position may be eligible for an increased sign-on bonus. Eligibility, bonus amount, and applicable terms and conditions will be discussed during the recruiting process* #MDFSP #PLABS26 Qualifications Required qualifications * 12+ years of experience in application prototype development and/or system engineering and a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, 10+ years of experience with a master's degree, and 8+ years of experience with a PhD. In lieu of a Bachelors' degree an additional four years is required for a total of 16+ years of experience
* Demonstrated work experience in areas such as IT and telecommunications system engineering, system integration, development and operations, project execution and quality oversight, resource identification and allocation, financial tracking and reporting
* Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers and technical staff
* Should be capable of designing and delivering technical solutions
* Ability to work on complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team
* Must hold at least one active/current technical certification from the following-
* Systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE)
* Information security (e.g., CISSP)
* Networking (e.g., CCNA)
* System Administration (e.g., RHCE, MCSE)
* Virtualization (e.g., VCP)
* IT systems management (e.g., ITIL)
* Project management (e.g., PMP, Agile)
* This position requires an active/current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
Additional desired qualifications * Experience specific to system integration, system administration, and/or network engineering
#mdpm Details Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
