The Opportunity:
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee research and development, penetration testing, and exploitation projects spanning multiple technical disciplines. You'll work with small to medium-sized cross-functional teams distributed across multiple labs on campus, guiding projects from conception through delivery. This role offers the unique opportunity to establish and refine project management processes while working hands-on with cutting-edge security assessment work and state-of-the-art technologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead and shape project management practices for complex technical projects including penetration testing, security assessments, and cutting-edge engineering initiatives that support critical national security missions. You'll have the opportunity to work across diverse technical and security domains, collaborating with subject matter experts, highly skilled engineers, and penetration testers while introducing modern project management methodologies to drive mission success.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, or Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • 4-6 years of project management experience
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience managing technical, engineering, or security projects
  • Experience managing projects in a government contracting environment and understanding of government requirements management
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to introduce and adapt these practices
  • Experience with project management tools such as GitLab, Microsoft Planner, or MS Project
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work effectively with highly technical and cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and managing:
  • Technical reports and documentation
  • Client presentations and briefings

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
