Senior Industrial Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys driving operational improvements, and is excited by the opportunity to make a measurable impact across multiple manufacturing facilities and step into future leadership roles!
This position plays a critical role in leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity and safety, and driving cost savings across the organization. In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the potential to grow into broader leadership responsibilities in the future.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, ergonomics, and safety using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Time Studies, Capacity Analysis, and other Industrial Engineering methodologies.
  • Identify, analyze, implement, and sustain cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities across manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct detailed cost analyses and track realized savings tied to operational improvements and process changes.
  • Analyze production performance data and develop actionable insights through advanced reporting, spreadsheets, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization tools.
  • Support and maintain the ShopVue Operator Performance Management system, including training and troubleshooting support for plant operations teams.
  • Process Engineering Change Orders within Agile PLM and maintain product structures, routings, and bills of materials within PRMS/AS400 systems.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, flowcharts, and training materials to support manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to design and optimize manufacturing layouts, equipment placement, workflow, ergonomics, and facility utilization.
  • Lead complex projects from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with operational goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operators, supervisors, managers, and leadership teams to drive alignment, gain buy-in, and ensure successful execution of improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior engineering team members while helping elevate Industrial Engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and OSHA compliance in all aspects of engineering and operational support.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering required.
  • 7+ years of Industrial Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment required.
  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, time studies, process optimization, and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Experience with MiniTab preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or serving in an informal leadership capacity preferred.
