Job Description

Puget Sound Energy is looking to grow our community with top talented individuals like you!  With our rapidly growing, award winning energy efficiency programs, our pathway to an exciting and innovative future is now.  PSE's HR Operations team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Senior HRIS Analyst position!  
The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for activities in support of the HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) including system support & problem resolution, HR reporting, analysis of business & system processes and optimization, and new system or functionality implementation.  This position works with the HRIS Administrator and other HRIS team members on configuration of security roles, tables, workflow and business rules, ensuring data integrity, usefulness of critical people data, and creation of standard work, policies and procedures around HRIS maintenance and application.  Specifically we are seeking an experience analyst who is trained and experienced with SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting and Onboarding modules.

The position we are filling now is a limited duration assignment in support of the HRIS team while PSE implements S/4 HANA.  The project is anticipated to last up to three (3) years.  Upon the conclusion of the project, the position will end.  You may apply and compete for available opportunities within the company; however, unless you are selected for another position, your employment at Puget Sound Energy will end.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.  Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct.  Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities
  • System Configuration;  Configure and maintain SuccessFactors Employee Central (primary), Recruiting and Onboarding modules based on HR policies, workflows and role-based permissions.
  • System Support & Problem Resolution:  Assist with administration for SuccessFactors employee central, recruiting and onboarding for configuration, testing, role security, education, and troubleshooting.
  • Process & System Analysis:  Analyze HR functional business & system processes and recommend improvements to meet business needs.
  • Data Integrity:  Ensuring data standards through automation, set up of preventative controls, data audits and working with the business for corrections.
  • Reporting: Support other analysts with defining business needs around reports and dashboards for leaders. 
  • HR Technology Roadmap: Assist with the sustainment planning for HR technology including the release (upgrades) planning, consulting with businesses to ensure applications meet their current and future needs.
  • Coaching:  Provide coaching and training to other HRIS Analysts, training coordinators and other system users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HRIS, Business Administration, computer systems, information technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5 years related work experience
  • HRIS experience supporting a variety of HR applications, strong analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of HR standards of practice, data report writing skills, customer service skills, business consulting skills
Desired Qualifications
  • System testing, business planning, release cycle management, training and development, , process documentation and record keeping, data report writing skills. 
  • Deep functional knowledge in specific SAP SuccessFactors modules of Onboarding (medium), Recruiting (medium), Employee Central (high).
  • Experience with the SuccessFactors to SAP ECC replication process highly desired.
  • Experience with cloud application release system management and system testing -- planning, testing, communication.
  • Experience identifying system issues, inaccurate set ups and data, and effective troubleshooting through to resolution, root cause and prevention.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and experienced at developing and maintaining process and technical documentation, job aids and other reference materials.
  • Experience leading teams or projects using standard tools to organize the plan, assign and track the work, execute on the plan.
  • Experience with planning and project manageing system changes, enhancements and improvement projects, ideally using an Agile approach and Scrum methodology  
  • Must be able to independently prioritze assignments based on urgency and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Understanding and/or experience in multiple disciplines of HR, benefits, payroll.
  • Experience collaborating with all levels of management and colleagues in other areas such as IT and Compliance.

The pay range for this position is $82,000.00 - $136,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
