The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits and other transactions. Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes. Follows standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs. Coordinates services with the human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Inputs employee life cycle changes into HRIS system, including hires, transfers, promotions and terminations, ensuring accurate pay, account distribution, benefits and other details. Applies established rules and processes for each type of employee and transaction. Coordinates with senior team members to process non-routine transactions.

  • Utilizes established queries to audit own work and perform daily quality checks on all transactions processed. Corrects any errors found in a timely fashion. Collaborates with more senior coordinators as needed.

  • Coordinates with departmental administrators, Payroll and other departments to resolve semi-complex issues related to pay, benefits, status, title, retroactive changes, etc. Understands and applies policies and procedures, tax rules and immigration rules.

  • Assists with educating departments with various policies and necessary forms required for processing employee changes. Answers routine questions.

  • Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Attention to detail required

  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written required

  • Problem-solving ability required

  • Strong computer aptitude required
